Shirley, Congrats on your date! That is such a wonderful thing to hear. You get an angel just by asking, some people ask someone they have befriended through the board or sometimes people will post a general message looking for one. Some will ask someone they met through a WLS support group or ask a family member to post on here to let everyone know how surgery went. An angel also will be there for you for advice encouragement and to lean on in whatever coapacity they feel comfortable. In a perfect WLS world, I would think that everyone who had an angel would offer to become an angel at some point so that the support is always growing on this board. Kind of like the "pay it forward" philosophy. I hope you find an angel. Best of luck with your surgery! Amy
