problem with Tricare Prime
Hello, I have been trying for 2 months now to get approved through Tricare. I am prime my husband is Active Duty. The surgeons office assures me that they have submitted at least 3 times. Tricare insists that they never received the request. I call both at least once a day to plead my case and get the same run around. I don't know what to do at this point. I have completed all of my prerequisites and have just been waiting. Any help or suggestions would be most appreciated.
If they are saying they have not recieved the packet -- try sending it registered. This may sound simplistic but verify the address to which they are sending it. There are many Tricare offices. Ask Tricare for a specific person to send it to the attention of. If all else fails there is a congressional liason at the Humana office in Louisville, Ky. Call him.
