I AM TRYING TO GET INFORMATION FOR A FRIEND. IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT INSURANCE CONAPNY IS PAYING FOR THE GASTRIC BY PASS IN ORDER FOR HER TO GET THAT COVERAGE. ALSO DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN DR MAREMA IN CELEBRATION IS HAVING HIS NEXT ORIENTATION AND SUPPORT GROUP.

There are a few out there that don't have WLS exclusions, depending on the plan you choose, it is probably best to have her call around...however, I don't know how your friend is planning on getting it, if she can go through a group plan with the company she works for, no problems...but if you try to purchase it individually or a family plan, they will deny if you are "out of their weight limit" (Which most of us pre-ops are). I tried for over a year and over 26 insurance plans denied me. I finally had to go cash pay. Wish your friend luck for me though and keep us posted!! -Phoenix
