Goodbye

I'm sorry everyone but I'm bowing out. This will be my last post on this board, I just can't get this surgery. It's not meant to be, so I'll work on weight loss another way. I can lose the weight on my own, just its going to be a very slow battle. Hard too, but ... Thank you guys for being so nice to me. It was nice meeting you all at the meetup. Goodluck to those who are getting the surgery soon or want it.

I was very sad to read that you are leaving here. I don't know what has happened but i wish you all the luck in the world. If you are having trouble getting insurance approval-- i would like to offer some kind of help. Don't give up just yet...keep trying. Geri

HELLO HEATHER. I AM HOPING THAT YOU RECONSIDER AND STAY ON POST. DO NOT GIVE UP. WE WILL CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR YOU. ALWAYS REMEMBER, NOTHING BEATS A FAILURE BUT A TRY. AND THUS FAR YOU HAVE DONE THAT BY TRYING . NOTHING GOOD IS EASY. AND THERE WILL BE STUMBLING BLOCKS. BUT YOU CAN NOT GIVE UP AND WE WILL NOT GIVE UP ON YOU. IT WAS A CHALLENGE FOR ME TO FIND A DOCTOR THAT WOULD ACCEPT MY INSURANCE BUT GOD MADE A WAY FOR ME TO DO SO. AND I HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY HIS GRACE. Heather, You never let us know what happened with Vocational Rehab. Did you give up on pursuing that? I know that you have a lot going on in your life these days (issues with work, family and your personal life) and sometimes life can seem overwhelming. Leaving here because you think you cant get surgery means you are walking away from a group of people who are here to support you in your weightloss, regardless of how you are doing it. There are others on this board who have fought for years to get surgery and they still keep plugging away because they know their future depends on it. Please dont give up on your health and know that you do have a group of friends on here who would be in your corner as you diet and exercise to a healthier lifestyle with or without WLS. Thanks, it's just depressing that nothing is working out. I don't have enough proof that I have been on supervised diet plans on and off. Plus my doctors letter just didn't seem good enough. I'm taking another route for weightloss, no surgery just going to work on eating less and exercising. Its all I can do..
