YuMMy! Another recipe update
Hey all! I am starting my own cookbook, and I am starting to devote myself to WLS eating. Would it be okay if I put a "tip of the day" up about foods that I've discovered and such? I really like the way Amy does the question of the day and almost everyday I have found something new and yummy that my dietician says is okay for post-op as well as pre-op. (I imagine after my surgery I will find even more--the whole trial and error thing)
Well, if no one would be opposed...I would like to volunteer for that!

P.S. Here is one that I thought I would share=a really good protein drink!
I bought the Wish Center's protein/vitamin drink, which you can get online at Wishcenter.org...go to the wish store and there they are (my dietician told me that 2 a day keeps the pills away

Well, I also bought the Wish Center's shake cup--what an AWESOME contraption--It is perfect for "sipping" and has a little filter inside, all that good stuff. Well, today I discovered that I killed my blender, so I just poured the vanilla protein powder into the cup with 3 slices of frozen banana (i cut those up two nights ago and froze them in tupperware in my freezer), and then I added 8 oz. lactaid (i can't handle milk--even if i am preop) LOL. Then I put in a little bit of crushed ice and shook--this shake is GOOD!! Well, hope this helps--enjoy!
