Down 14.4 Pounds

I went to my first appointment after having my surgery on 11/9/04 and I am a loser.....14.4 pounds to date... I told her I was having cramps in my left groin.. she said to try gatoraide or propell water. The gatoraide had 14 sugars in a 20 oz bottle...So i am trying the propell which by the wy is made by gatoraide go figure... But i am so happy that I am down 14.4 punds in 1 week....also had my drain taken out....

YAY Jerry! Didn't you feel 200% better and human again after Sylvia yanked that nasty drain out????? I go next week to have the G removed I'll let you know how it goes...you'll be there soon enough. Keep up the good work. Danielle -30 lbs.

Jerry that's a fantastic start!! The only thing better than having that drain out is when the G-tube comes out. For Danielle's sake I will tell you that it feels like a snake!! But it doesn't hurt. And the relief is unreal!!! Anyway, you're off to such a great start and I'm proud to know ya!!! Congratulations! Jan
