Don't lose hope. A friend just called me last night. He was denied so he called the insurance co. They told him his BMI was not high enough. His BMI is 45.6 he asked them to check it and was approved within 24 hours.

Melissa, I agree with Carol, find out why you were denied and appeal. You can get copies of good appeal letters and even hire a WLS attorney if you really want to push the issue. Have faith and stay focused! Amy
