Question of the Day
Growing up I ,too, hated liver. Mom would make it and we would have to eat a small bite. My first husband LOVED it so I learned to cook it where I could eat it. Now I don't cook it cause I have found I really don't care for it after all.
BUT being a wife in Georgia for most my adult life, the one thing I found that I could NOT eat was Chitlins. No No No.......... I also don't like headcheese, tripe, or liverwurst. NO NO NO.
Maybe there are some that don't even know about these "delicacies" of the south.
Hope you all have a great day.

As I was scrolling through the answers I was thinking about the same foods, before I even saw your answer!!
My parents are/were from Georgia. I remember the smell when Mama was cooking Chitlins. A pulp mill smells like sweet perfume compared to that. I dont even want to look at Tripe or HogsHead Cheese!! At least she never made us eat that stuff.
Come on you guys - liver is delicious!! I can't stand seafood or brussel sprouts. I can eat tuna salad if it is very cold, but can't stand anything else. I'm allergic to seafood. Well... I'm probably only truly allergic to shellfish but all of it just smells too "fishy" to me! However, dh can't stand liver so we have a deal - I don't cook liver & he doesn't cook seafood - if we want either, we get it when we eat out.
