Post-Op 3 Weeks, Having Problems

Sunday I was in the ER for significant leg pain. Doppler ruled out blood clots - thank God! Pain is lessening, they still don't know what caused the pain. Not cramping per se, but an all-over muscle seizure in lower legs. Bloodwork came back perfect. Also, for the past week, I am having more and more trouble getting things to stay down. I took my Pepcid and crewable supplements this morning, 2 hours ago - I am still regurgitating foamy mucus. I am waiting for a call back from my doctor. Has anyone here had a stricture? Does it sound as though I am developing one? Kristen Lap RNY 10-25-04 278/151/Goal = 120

I had stricture at 6 weeks post op...the foamies started for me 2 weeks before hand. I got sick almost every meal, soon after I ate the foamies started. I thought I was eating too fast, so I slowed down a lot...it helped a bit. At my 6 week check up, I couldn't even hold down water that day...lucky I had an appointment that day. I was admitted that day and was dilated the next morning from a 9 to 15. Silly me thought I was suppose to feel icky after I ate...blamed it on it just having surgery. I felt like a new person right after I was dilated. But of course I don't know if you are getting stricture, I still get the foamies once in awhile, but I know I don't have stricture, cause I am keeping down my water. Tracey -74
