How was your weekend?

Amy B. asked us all what we were going to do...so did you do it and how was it? I had dinner with Karen (Kiki) (thanks again) and then went to Wal-mart which was waaaay too crowded for me. Today I watched "Ray" bought too much at Lane Bryant and got a spiffy new pair of white tennis shoes to wear while my legs are wrapped. Funny thing, while I'm trying on clothes and 24 shirts are fitting...I tell myself they must run big...instead of being able to accept I actually FIT into a size 24. Now I'm doing my laundry...dishes might get done or wait until tomorrow! Have to get to soon have to be up at 5 a.m.

I need a weekend after my weekend ! I am beat! I shopped and shopped until my feet hurt on Saturday then spent most of yesterday afternoon in a courtroom acting as a mock juror for a big case. That was interesting and I learned a lot, but it was freezing there, the chairs were too hard and it was a lot longer than they told me it would be (4 hr versus 2.5hr). I had to pay full attention and use my noggin but I really wanted to just be relaxing on the sofa, taking a snoozee. I didnt get anything done around here so next weekend will have to play catch up. Thanks for asking

Watched my husband's favorite team, the Buckeyes, lose a game on Saturday. Sunday my son and his wife came over and showed us pictures of their vacation. Today is my birthday.Won't tell you I am now 62.

I'm with Amy -- I need a weekend to recover from my weekend. I went to MGM with my three adult children, hubby and two grandchildren. It was ABC Soap weekend and there had to be record attendance. The park, rides or walking were not problems. It was fighting the crowds that left me tired and somewhat saddened by how rude people can be when everyone is just simply trying to have a good time. Oh well, I'm going to go take a nice (solitary) walk this AM at the zoo......and recover. LuvitsunnyV@goal
