Anything fun planned this weekend?

Hmm...nothing really planned that sounds like fun...I start my "practice diet" today, so I guess I will be grocery shopping, doing laundry, cleaning the house (I am in the middle of getting my home equity loan processed and the appraiser will be coming out soon--so gotta clean, clean, clean!) Then, some homework and that's about it! Oh yeah, I bought 3 books yesterday that I might crack open, Carnie Wilson's books and another one about Life before and after WLS. -Phoenix

Today is my hubby's bday so the girls have planned presents this morning and I have planned a meal today for him. I gave him a power drill for his present from me. He is a woodworker so always tools. We will just hang around here at the house today and maybe go fishing tomorrow if the weather stays nice. Getting ready for a trip to KY for thanksgiving week so I have some mending and washing. Also have to find something to wear that doesn't droop on me. I am down enough it is showing in my clothes. Believe me I am NOT WHINING Have a great weekend everyone. Talk to you later. Dinner with Kiki and friend. That will be over by a SUPER Wal-mart so I will go shopping there...o.k. stop laughing! I also need to go Lane Bryant to get another girdle and I need to find a new pair of BIG shoes. I can't wear my regular shoes when I have my legs wrapped, and currently have a pair of honkn' white men's velcro shoes which I had to cut off one strap and the tongue. Far far from Manolo Blahniks. They don't fit really well and are hard to walk in. Tomorrow I want to go to the movies and see Incredibles and Ray. Also, as usual laundry and dishes are on the to do list.

Well I have to tell you that yesterday I heard that William H Macy was in a new movie for TNT that they were showing in Sarasota and he would attend. Tickets were free! The movie was called The Wool Hat and it was good, got me choked up a few times. HE introduced the movie and took questions at the end. Then he cam right out into the audience and shook our hands, took pictures and got my program autographed. What a cool enexpected evening. Hollywood comes to Sarasota The rest of the weekend is a church spaghetti dinner tonight and the Incredible movie tomorrow with my daughter. Elaine

I just did some tooting around with my sister and mother today. Tonight we went out to dinner at Pasta Faire and I had grilled salmon with hollandaise sauce and some veggies. All day long I had call after call after call from work and managed to get two new residents, so it was a pretty successful day. Jan

While you all are having fun running around this weekend I will be at work. Kinda a hazard that comes with my profession. I have to work every other weekend 12 hour shifts. The good thing is next weekend I am off for 4 days in a row. So I guess it pays off. Have a fun weekend all....
