Hello to all! Can you all believe of all days for me to have my period! I have been without it for a month and a half already and low and behold it creeps up on me this morning! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH I'm having surgery tomorrow! Do you all think I might be cancelled because of this???? PLEASE Has this happened to anyone? OT: I've been a good girl today and yesterday, well almost. I had protein shake for breakfast and a grilled chicken salad last night and so far today just protein shake and water. Just wanted to let you all know! Take care everyone, and God Bless you all! Hi Johanna, I haven't had surgery yet so I can't give you any help there. I just wanted to say congratulations on your upcoming surgery. Hope and pray that you have a very un-eventful surgery. Soon you will be on the losing side, I know you are excited about that. Blessings, Wanda

Johanna, I don't know if your surgery will be cancelled due to your period. I had 2 previous surgeries and had my period and they still operated on me. Good luck with your surgery. I will remember you in my prayers. God Bless Deb

Johanna, Don't worry! This definitely won't affect your surgery. I started the morning of my surgery. It is very commom to start just before surgery, even if you just had one(hormones?). The nurses are totally used to it. Just let them know and they'll make sure they put down a pad before they put you on the bed. Good luck!!!!! Love & Prayes, Erika L

Thank you very much ladies! I called the surgeons office and left a message. The Dr. called me back and told me that there wouldn't be any inconvenience (sp?) except for myself! So, surgery remains on schedule! Johanna

Hi Johanna, My doctor pulled me off the pill 5 days before surgery so I too got my period. While whining to office staff I was told that almost all women get their period post-surgery/in recovery, because hormones go a little askew. FYI, I'm not a doctor but I play one on TV. Blessings for you tomorrow!! Kristen

Johanna, I was thinking of you today! Tomorrow is your big day! Make sure you drive safely there! You, your family and Dr. Cox are in my prayers! FYI, I also started my period the morning of surgery! Not a big deal! Best of Luck! MICHELLE.
