I just wanted to send a big thank you to all the families out there that are part of the military family. Being married to a disabled veteran, I know first hand how much sacrifice our military gives for this country. I am very proud of my veteran. He is truly my hero. If you are close to a veteran or if you see one today, please give him/her a warm thank you. They have helped make this country what it is. With all its flaws and craziness, it is still the greatest country in the world HAPPY VETERANS DAY Carol

My nephew is an Army Ranger and is currently deployed. For security reasons, he can't tell us exactly where he is but we know enough to say an extra prayer for his safe return. Please keep him & all the other men & women who now serve or have served in our military in your prayers. "It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag." Vickie J.
