Questions about Dr.Murr!
Hello all! After an exhausting 5 months trying to get US Bariatrics in Ft.Laud. to help me- I have decided to switch doc's. I am going on Thurs to Dr.Murrs meetings. ANyone who was had Dr.Murr, please tell me about him and Tampa General and what you think is good and bad. I have had the worst experience with Dr.marema's staff. They are so not helpful. I have had most of my testing done: upper endoscopy w/H.Pylori, gallbladder ultrasound, Psych eval, PCP letters, bloodwork..Please let me know what you think of him and his practice. Thanks so much!

Dr Murr is a good surgeon and I have faith in him. Only minor issue is that I have met him twice. Once for my consult and the day after surgery. I have no doubts that he cares about his patients though. Other than that, the rest of his staff really cares about the patients. Dr. Nelson, Dr. Gonzalez and Jose (his assistant) are really caring and I have loved dealing with them.
I cannot say enough about Dr. Murr, TGH and all of the staff. I have had a lot of complications from my diabeties so I was desperate to get off of my insulin. This was my 29th operation. I have never been treated better by a Dr his staff or a hospital I am completly off of my insulin after averaging 200-300 units per day. I feel as though they saved my life. I have sent a couple of different people to Dr. Murr. All are just as happy and satisfied as I am. You will not just be in good hands but the best.
Hello Brian! Oh my gosh- Here I am worried about my first surgery and you have had 29!!! Talk about a very strong person! I do not have diabetes, but my father does. I know it can be hell. I have too much insulin and low blood sugar (pre-diabetes) I am glad you have heard all good things and have had a positive experience. Will you be at the group on Thurs? Best of luck and happiness!
sincerely,
Kim
