SW Florida Meet & Greet

Hi everyone! Been doing some thinking and Amy keeps setting up those really cool Central FL Meet & Greet. As much as I want to go, I just can't travel that far with the schedule I keep. So, I was thinking, if anyone was interested, I know there are quite a few folks down this way...maybe we could start having our own SW FL Meet & Greets. I hope this doesn't seem like a cheesy spin off...just trying to keep everyone connected, even those who are far away. Let me know what you all think. Danielle

Danielle, I am in Bradenton which is relatiely closer and I would would love to attend one as I didnt make the last one. Elaine

Danielle, it's not cheesy at all. There's a fine group that meets up in Jacksonville for those folks too! It's just that Florida is so spread out, there's a need for more groups! Jan

Hi Danielle, I think that's a wonderful idea! I too have trouble with my schedule to drive all that way. I would be up to hearing some suggestions as to places we can meet. Thanks for thinking of us in the SW of Fl.

Ok, so far we have (me) in the Ft. Myers area, Bradenton & Madeira Beach-where is Madeira Beach??? I also know several other members around here, Estero, Cape Coral also...I'm brainstormin'....smell the smoke? i think it would be great, then maybe someday we could at least once have one altogether. i am in hardee county, right about in the middle. i've only been to the orlando one once, no matter how many times i try to get there, lol. i live right accross from pioneer park on strd 64, going to bradenton. i'm not sure if it is open yet because of the hurricanes, that is where fema is set up. i can check on it though. let me know. angie

I'm in South Miami, where is Lehigh Acres? I just moved to Florida about three years ago and I'm not familiar with anything north of Miami.

Lehigh Acres is near Fort Myers & Bonita

Dr. Benitez has a group that he started and they meet once a month in Ft. Myers. Since Dr. b does not do this surgery anymore I don't know if they will continue forever. Sometimes it is nice to meet with different people that have had the surgery from different Dr's. I think it is a good idea. let me know. thanks for the effort.
