ONEderland!!!!

There is an advantage to being a lightweight! It's funny to call myself that because I know how difficult it was to get through a day just a couple of months ago. Especially in the warmer weather, I'd get SOOOO out of breath walking between the two hospitals here in Ocala, which are located directly across the street from each other. I'd huff and puff and sweat like a pig!! In just this short time since surgery, and now that the weather is much cooler, I feel better, I have more of a spring in my step, I can walk (or shop) all day without getting tired and yesterday I even noticed that my hip didn't hurt AT ALL!! It was wonderful to hear my mother say to me that I look like I'm half the size I was! But the big news today is this - my surgery was September 9 and just under two months later, I'm out of the 200s and now my weight begins with a ONE!!! Hope everyone's weekend is filled with little successes and momentous occasions!! Jan

Congratualtioins Jan, your weight will never start witha 2 again!! Aren't you proud of yourself! I remember when I got to the ONEderland (well put!!) I was so excited! I called my sister and she went: "Hpw can u be excited about weight 199 lbs.??" well, if she was gonna be childish, so could I... I called my dad and told him what she had said to me... My dad took care of her!! It sucks to have a SKINNY twin sister! She is cool most of that time, though!! -Flávia

Jan-Congratulations! I think that is worth celebrating! I am down 70 pounds and am at 240 for the first time since being a teenager! It is amazing how good I feel too! Good Luck and reward yourself!

Jan that sounds so awesome! I just replied to Carol about how just a few weeks can make such a difference. It fills my heart with happiness seeing you all loosing. I hope before the end of the year I will be on the loosing side. I am waiting to see my surgeon. Congratulations on the good work and feel healthy!

Congratulations Jan. That is so cool. I look forward to seeing the skinny you on Tuesday or Wednesday. My surgery is Tuesday morning, I'm # 2 on Dr. Jawad's list.
