I've heard of stevia but havent tried it. I think Splenda has just gotten more popular in the past few years, I remember the days when you had to order it from Canada for low carb diets. Can you bake/cook with stevia?
Stevia is a natural noncaloric sweetener that comes from an herb. You can get it in liquid or powder form. Some people love it, some hate it. The biggest complaint is a bitter taste/aftertaste.
It is pretty pricy, so try a small amount to see if you like it.
