can you drink black coffee?

I know I asked yesterday what to drink--but I dont think anyone addressed the coffee issue. Thanks Amy N. By the way, does my picture come up with my post? Am I suppose to see it?

You're asking the wrong idiot right now considering my current POST-OP coffee addiction. The paperwork I got says we can have some coffee like with breakfast or what not. My surgeon's office kind of wants you to steer clear of it...so in the end, I don't have a good answer. Sorry Danielle -21#s

Amy, your picture doen't coem up with your post. If you have sent it to OH, it takes a week or two for them to get it up. If you drink coffee or tea, as a new post-op, drink decaffenated.

Your surgeon/nutritionist is OK with coffee but not soda. When do you go to the nutrition class? That class will answer so many of your questions.
