Portein drink help please

Hi everyone: Well, I have 8 days until surgery and need your help! I am desperate to find some better tasting protein drinks than what I have. I purchased one called Protein 95 from GNC and I might say ICK! I need to order many before my surgery which is November 9th. I would suggest trying to get as many samples of drinks as you can, because your tastes will change right after your surgery. I like the RTD drinks much better than anything you can get in powder form, and the colder, the better. My absolute favorite is AchievOne which you can get from bariatriceating.com. It tastes exactly like Starbuck's Frappachino. Good luck! Jan

Marilyn, Everyone's tastes are SO different when it comes to protein drinks. Try to order some samples from valleynutrition.com (free shipping), bariatriceating.com, unjury.com or other wls sites. I use both powder or ready to drink versions. I like Elite and Proplete brands for dry mix the best. Also, try ready to drink EAS Low Carb AdvantEdge, they are available at Walmart (cheapest prices) but you can find them at other stores too, they come in many flavors.

I agree with Jan and Amy, get samples to try. I'm almost a year out and still try to do one protein drink a day. My tastes have changed since the beginning and I still try samples of new brands to find ones that agree with me now. Linda

I have found several drinks I like for when I am on full liquid diet and thereafter but still having a problem finding stuff I like for the clear liquid diet any suggestions... And thanks for all the samples at the meet and greet I love the unjury

I never found a Protein drink I could tolerate. I get my proteins from meat and cheese.

I love the Pure Protein Shake, Chocolate only, from GNC. It is also called MetRx.
