Hi I was at a health food store yesterday and we got into a conversation about calcium. I said my doctor had said to eat a couple of TUMS every day. The man who worked there said there was something in tums that prevented you from absorbing the calcium. Has anyone else ever heard of this???? lizz

I think the man wants to sell more calcium. I have always heard that you should take Tums for calcium. Donna

Calcium citrate is more absorbable. I take Caltrate + D, I bought it at Wal-mart. Hugs, Erika L
