Question for you FL members!!!!

Hello Floriday members I was told by another member of the main board that there was a post about the Wish center in Fl that was doing some free WLS for those bad in need of it. I just wanted to see if whoever had posted about this could email me or let me know about it I researched a little and didn't see anything like that but she said she saw a commercial on it. Any help on this would be GREATLY apreciated! I have fought with ins for 4 years they will never pay. Thanks in advance for the help! God Bless Michele

Never heard of anything like that. But then again I have never seen commercials for The Wish Center in my area, so I am probably not much help. Have you checked with any finance companies?

I don't know anything about the Wish Center. But I don't think it would hurt to call them and ask. Good Luck!

Michele, I live very close to the wish center, and since I work in a doctor's office, I have patients who have had their surgery there. I have never seen a commercial that says they will do the surgery free....I have seen commercials that say they offer financing up to 5 years! Hope this helps. Good Luck

Hey girl, I am actually going throught the Wish Center, and if they had a program like that, I woulda heard about it! LOL I have no insurance and am a fulltime pre-med student-and the main reason I don't have insurance is because no one will cover me. They said I am "over their weight limit" and I have called over 30 insurance companies. Being in pre-med, I can't really work anywhere fulltime to get insurance and maintain my 4.0, so I have exhausted every option I can think of. Finally, I decided on cash pay. (Home equity loans are a BEAUTIFUL thing!!) The Wish Center absolutely does offer a financing program, with a few stipulations of course. Here is a copy of an email I got from one of their Finance directors when I was thinking of financing with them: "Thank you so much for your email and your interest in The Weight Intervention and Surgical Healthcare (WISH) Center, There are several basic requirements that must be met to be considered for financing: You must be employed You must have a minimum monthly income of at least $2,000 You must be current with your financial obligations You must have a reasonable debt to income ratio If you have further questions about financing the surgery, please contact me at one of the numbers listed below. Also, I do know that if credit is an issue, they allow other people to apply for it, like a family member or friend who is willing to put it in their name. I hear that this surgery is worth every penny, so if you can afford car payments, I would look into their financing for sure!!!! -Phoenix
