I made a yummy smoothie - share your recipes too!
I am tolerating thicker foods now. I am in the pureed stages but getting my protein from pureed meat just won't work for me. So I will rely on the shakes for now.
Anyway this is what I mixed together:
1c. of Skim Milk
1 packet of Unjury brand Vanilla Protein Powder
1 individual container of Light n Lively low carb Peach Yogurt
1/2 banana
1 small handful of ice
Blended until smooth.
My go**** was GOOD!
My only complaint is that it was slightly bitter because the banana wasn't fully ripe, but that is easily remedied.
My next smoothie to try is going to be
1c. of Skim Milk
1 packet of Unjury Brand Chocolate Protein Powder
1/2c. of Decaf Coffee (fully brewed)
1 handful of ice
It won't be as thick, but it still may taste good.
