At first I thought I had wonderful co-workers that were behind me and my wls. they were cheering me on and encouraging me through the new me. well it seems that it is not the case. All I hear now is. Don't you think you are eating to much? Are you allowed to eat that. What about this. How about that. It is like they are all Food police and monitoring everything I put in my mouth. I do eat 3 times while at work. am snack lunch and pm snack. but we are talking about 3 or 4 oz here and 3 and 4 oz there. It is not like I am gulping down a #3 super sized 3 times a day. I mean come on. Is it there right to question my food choices. (Ok I will admit I slipped once bought a bag of m&m had 4 and threw the bag out) I feel like I have to be a closet eater or face the wrath of the food police. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks for listening Jen

They are probably worried abouth you. I tell my sister all the time that she's 5 months post op. So don't get mad. Show them what you can and cannot eat maybe they just don't know. Im sure their not doing it to mess with you. Just my thought good luck iraida

Now you know why I didn't tell anyone except my assistant that I was having this surgery. Even my boss knows I had surgery, but doesn't know what for! The food police are the pits! Jan

I told absolutely no one, I refuse to be put under a microscope... As Jan, my boss knows I had surgery, but not what kind. Flávia

The next time they question you, just tell them "yes, I am allowed" and leave it at that. Or say "I am following the approved guidelines that my surgeon and nutritionist have set for me". Oh and the one I used on my boyfriend tonight was "If I am eating too much, you will know it because it will quickly get vomited on the floor". That should quiet them down!
