Has anyone used the Wish Center or paid for their surgery?

Hey there all, I was just wondering if anyone has gone through the Wish Center for their surgery? I have my testing on Nov. 12 and haven't really seen anything about the wish center on this board. If anyone has, how was it? I am in Tampa and so far, I have really loved the staff there, but I have only been there a few times so far. Also, has anyone else been a cash pay patient...if so, does the process move along a little quicker? (Im a fulltime student w/o coverage, so...) When I thought I could get insurance, I noticed it took them 2 months to get me in, but as soon as I said I was paying, they scheduled me in for 2 weeks down the road...LOL

My PCP researched and asked around for a month before sending me there. Please come to a support group meeting at Town & Country Hosp. They are in the same place as the seminar and on the 1st Thursday of the month. I can refer you to at least 1/2 dozen new friends who have had their surgery and would have had it no where else. Hi Phoenix I had my surgery with the Wish Center this past April and I have nothing but glowing things to say about them. The staff is wonderful as are the doctors. Please email me if you want to know anything. I too was a cash patient. It does move a bit faster because there is no need to wait for insurance approvalls. I wish you all the best with your journey. Thanks, I will try and make one of the meetings soon! If you don't mind, can I ask the rough cost of the surgery? I will find out at my appt. on Nov. 12, I am just anxious! LOL My mother is helping me pay and I am in the midst of getting a home equity loan (Thank God I was responsible with my money and purchased a home!!) =)) Also, how long after your tests did you have your surgery? I am so glad that everyone seems satisfied and has nothing but good things to say about TWC, I am so excited to get this chance and can think of nothing but!! -Phoenix
