OT: Ladies I need some help with a decsion to make....

Ladies, I need some help with a problem that I have. As some of you may know I have knee problems. I jsus found out today that I need surgery on my right knee. BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT I just found out yesterday from the surgeons nurse in P.C. that I will ahve to wait till after the first of the year before I have my WLS cause they have no more OR time for the year. There all booked up basically. What do I do. I will be out of work 4 to 6 weeks with my knees?? I have a lot of conflicting Ideas being given to me. Any of you out there been through such a situation that can give me some ideas? I am all ears. I appreciate it! Becky

Becky, Wow, a double whammy. How soon can you have your knee surgery? You'll need to have good knees for all the necessary walking after WLS, so my thoughts are have your knee surgery first. Good luck!

Well I can have it done when I get ready Amy...Thign is I am tryin to wait to find out how long after the first of the year my wls wil lbe. That way I can try to plan around it so to speak. Thank you for your advise though. I wil llet you guys know when I have it. Becky
