New to Florida Boards

I am getting to have gastric bypass. I have a meeting with my case worker on the 6th of Jan. I will imagine we will set a schedule for surgery then. Scared and excited

Congratulations Sandy! You have made the best decision of your life, and you have chose the best surgeon. Dr. Jawad performed my surgery on 8/18/10 and to date I have lost 102 lbs.

Dr. Jawad also has a support group, we meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 6PM at West Marion Community Hospital. So next Thursday is our meeting, I hope you can attend.

If you have any questions please feel free to just ask, either I can help or there are a lot of knowledgeable people on OH.

Hi Donna,

Can you tell me a little about the support group. I had RNY on 2/23/10 and have been meaning to attend the group but just haven't yet. Are there a lot of people that attend?
