I'm like Jan, I decorate for the fall, not necessarily Halloween. I give candy to the kids who trick or treat. We light up the house with cinnamon/apple candles and turn the air conditioning low so we can imagine its like fall up north. However, the weather is usually warm and nice -- clear nites with lots of stars. I would say last year we had 100-150 children who came to the door. Most are very young and accompanied by parents. I have 4 children and 3 grandchildren, so we do decorate a little, pumpkins and a little decorating. Not as much as Christmas. I have a gothic witch costume my daughter made for me. I'm looking forward to wearing it. I was going to wear it to work but its Sunday, might still wear it Friday. Can't quite make up my mind. It is so cool, that I need to wear it. That night I stay at home and pass out candy to the little ghost and goblins in the neighbor hood. I can't wait till Christmas, we hook our trailer to the tractor and take all the kiddies (and friends, we get bigger every year) full of hay, christmas caroling. Now that is f-u-n.

I have a few plans for Halloweenie: I have to work and most of the people there are teens or younguns and I am taking the punch bowl and making Bloody punch w/ severed hand. Regular punch with an ice hand formed by a rubber glove frozen. I'll take in some treats for them too. We live in an older mobile home park but everyone decorates. I have a punkin and some huge cut outs out front too. I would love to go trick or treating tho... ~Tina~

Will decorate tmwr, my 6 year old will be some sort of Barbie PRincess (I think it is the one from "The Princess and te Pauper" and I will just wear my Evil Step-mother costume from the Snow White movie. Great excuse for blue eye shadow and fake eye lashes!! lol Flavia

I am the proud mom of a two-year-old who discovered he loves this holiday (even though I truly believe he is clueless Anyway, he has an obsession with pumpkins, so our house is decorated top to bottom with pumpkins, so kind of halloween'ish and fall'ish if you will. We have not finalized our plans for halloween although I'll probably team up with my best friend and take the kids back to the mall, they have a safe trick or treat program where the kids go from store to store....last year it was REALLY crowded and they ran out of candy early . So, I don't know what we'll do yet. Also, Amy, got your e-mail. I am better now, pain free in fact and down a whopping 12 lbs. Slept in my bed last night and man was that spectacular! I go back to Ocala on Wed. to get my staples out and my JP drain too. Thanks again for everything. Danielle

Hijack!!! Danielle, I have an appointment on Wednesday also!! Wouldn't it be something if I saw you there, although my appointment is in the afternoon!! And 12 lbs. so far is fantastic, but sleeping in your bed is truly priceless, isn't it? I remember that!! Now I'm looking forward to sleeping in my bed G-tube free and not having to worry about where it is all the time!! You'll be so glad to get rid of that JP drain!! Jan
