I hate voice mail

Okay I have had my initial consult, psych eval, nutritional consult, gall bladder ultrasound, hemotology visit, I have proof of 6 mos supervised care, a wonderful letter from my PCM, and I can't even get the surgeons office to tell me whether or not they have submitted my packet for approval. I get bounced around from one voice mail to another on my dime(I live 150 miles away from my surgeon) I'm at my wits end here. Okay I'm done thanks for listening.

Call them again on Monday and try to be patient. They are swamped at that office, but SO worth the wait!! They really do care about all their patients and they will get you your answer. Did you leave a message on someone's machine?? They will get back to you as soon as humanly possible! I work in healthcare and I KNOW you want an answer and RIGHT now, but it's NOT an emergency and this is not (pardon the expression) fast food. Take a deep breath and try again on Monday and remember (now don't take offense) that you're not the only patient they have. Dr. Jawad is the best there is!! Jan

Can you send an e-mail? A lot of people have success in getting answers by e-mailing their surgeons office. Good luck!

I called my PCP three times leaving a message on voice mail that I wanted to make an appointment for a physical. They never did call me back. She's a well-liked doc and busy all the time. I finally just stopped in and made my appointments. Good luck. LuvitsunnyV@goal

as much as i hate being pateince... im gonna tell you to be it... mabye you can get a phone card... or try 1010220... i think they are pretty cheep...
