BMI under 40 now

Well...I just got home from my first real vacation in years. I had a total blast on St. Pete Beach...stayed at a great resort. It felt great going to the pool and feeling normal, not embarassed...in fact my suit was too big. I was sooo afraid of going on vacation and eating situations, but I did great with eating out. I went to Publix 2 days ago and weighed and I am down 60lbs now and my BMI is 39.4. I keep telling my mom this surgery was the best thing I have ever done. My 12 year old son is even seeing the changes...3 weeks ago at Disney I had to stop and rest every 20 minutes, but this time at Lowry Zoo and Homosassa Springs...I wore him out, I didn't stop at all. My mom is calling me a bag lady, I bought a new outfit last weekend and it is too big already, so I will be bringing lots of stuff to the Meet and Greet...so count me. Also Danielle I am so happy to hear you are home...sorry to hear about the gas, my kids love my gassiness now. I have been taking gas-x lately so I don't embarass myself in public. I hope everyone is else to doing good. I really missed reading the boards, but gosh I loved going to the beach and finally enjoying myself...well except when the 2 year old would throw sand at me or her brother. Tracey

Tracey, I'm right there with you as far as the BMI is concerned!! I've only lost 32 lbs., but I feel so much better already!! I'm planning to bring a few items of clothing to the meet and greet too! Some of my stuff will be tossed like the rags they are, but some are brand new with the tags still on!!!! I hope someone can use them! Maybe we should plan on some sort of clothing thing at the M&G!!
