Hi I am going crazy. I have not lost even a pound in over a month!!! I eat under 700 calories, no fat or sugar, and about 25 carbs. I lost 65lbs the first 3 months then the past...nothing. Has anyone else had this happen? I am so grateful that I cant go shove a sub down. I understand a plateau, but a month is a long time. Thanks.

look at the amount of protien and water you are doing. Has that changed? Can you increase it?

Lizz, I am only 4.5 months out and recently I went nearly three weeks without losing anything, then lost 7lbs in a few days. That was the third plateau I have had since surgery. They seem to get longer each time. Your body is just playing catch up. It will come off, just be patient

Lots of times when people aren't losing pounds of the scale, they are losing inches. Are you keeping measurements as well as monitoring your weight loss? You might see a big drop in inches but no pounds lost. Hang in there!

Hi Lizz- Congrats on your great weight loss thus far. I have found when I hit a plateau that I had to increase my calories to jumpstart things. 700 calories seems awfully low. I would try and shoot closer to 1000 at this point. Give it a try. Best of luck! Lori 222/152/1?? laprny 1-6-04
