Help please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone, It seems that the only time I post is when I need help. I'm sorry and will try to do better in the future. I am in the process of getting some tests run before I go for my consult. My Dr. wants me to have an Upper GI and Small Bowel Study. My problem is I weigh 480lbs. And it seems the max weight any of the tables can hold is 400lbs. I am having my consult in NY because that is where the Dr. that will take me on is located. I want to have the DS procedure. I live in Palm Beach County,Fl and was wondering if anyone knows of a facility that can handle me I would appreciate any help Thanks for reading my post

Dennis, When I had my heart cath procedure, the table at the doctor's office wasnt going to hold me, so they scheduled it at the hospital because their tables would hold me. Maybe having the procedure done at a hospital is an option. Surely there are post-ops near you that had to have the same tests done, maybe you could call some of the WLS surgeons in your area and ask the nurse who they recommend for those types of tests, then contact those doctors and ask about the weight limits on their tables. I don't know how far you are willing to travel, but you can try to call the Baptist Hospital in Miami. I believe they may be able to help. If not, can you call the local hospital there and ask them to recommend facilities?
