I feel so helpless. I have completed everything that has been asked of me and I have waited and waited and still no answer. I have always been the kind of person who does whatever is needed to get the job done. Now there is nothing for me to do!!!! I need to feel like I'm doing something productive.

Jo, who is your insurance carrier? Maybe we can all offer some advice since all of us have different carriers around here. I have UHC. I called everyday to customer care. It took a total of 3 weeks, but it would have been shorter if my info was faxed over in time. Still, the following up with them helped. The reps would send the file to a manager to find out why it was taking so long. The more you stay in contact with them the better. Remember, you pay for your insurance and you have a right to call them and make sure they are on the ball! It will work out, just keep on them.

Who is your insurance provider? Maybe you can post that and connect with some other members who have the same insurance and they give you some tips. I'm wishing you the best!
