What can I ride at Disney at 330lbs?
I'm going to Disney World this weekend and I will have hopper pass. I have really never been able to ride a lot of rides at places. I'll be with people from work, the same people who were with me during the airplane seatbelt incident, so I won't be too embarrassed if I have to get off...but I don't want to get my hopes up.
So I am 5'3 and weigh 330lb...what rides do you think I can fit on?
I don't know if this will hel*****t, I'm 5'8" and 370. Last time I went, last year and maybe only 20lbs lighter, I was able to ride everything at all the parks. Now at Bush Gardens with the roller coasters that go upside down-no uh-uh, can't fit at all anymore (hopefully will soon again). But the Disney restraints are only lap belts not full harnesses.

Hello there! I am 24 yrs old 350 lbs and a Disney know-it-all! =) The best rides for people our size are
MGM STUDIOS- Tower of Terror is big girl friendly- Aerosmith roller coster is too because the harness comes down over your head to about you chest (not stomach). Star Tours sealt belts might be a tight squeeze (they are for me) Make sure you go in 'who wants to be a millionaire. It isn't a ride-you sit down-but it is awesome!! Air-conditiong, seats and a cool show!! The seats in the muppet 3-D are tight-try one towards that back of the theatre. Same with little mermaid (if you like that sort of thing)
Epcot- (I have never been on Test Track..I have not been on Mission Space, but a family member of mine said it is big person friendly because it comes down over your head like aerosmith does)
Magic Kingdom- Thunder Mountain is ample. (if it is open) Splash mountain is big friendly- I feel safer sitting in the back by myself on this one-that way my weight is in the back of the log) Space Mountain may be a bit tight-it is for me (it is a lap bar)
Animal Kingdom- If you have any kind of heart neck or back STAY AWAY FROM Countdown to Extinction- It is a very turbulent ride---I do not recommend this for bigger people. I have not been on the rapids ride here, so I do not know about that.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions. I would be glad to answer them. I hope this was some good friendly advice from a Floridian! (My parents have been taking me to Disney about 2-3 times a year since I was born!! ) I could probably draw a map of the place! =)
Take care and enjoy Disney!!!
