Another Angelette Update

Hello Everyone! I spoke with both Carol M and Danielle Helmick today. They both sounded fabulous and have been walking and sitting up. Carol had just completed the wretched leak test and was anxiously awaiting her first post op "meal" Danielle had already had another Post-Op Jan visit and was dressed and all ready to go, just waiting on her release. She should have been released this afternoon and Carol will be released tomorrow morning. Carol is staying in the Jax area for a few days, then will head home to the panhandle, Danielle might stay another night in Ocala then head home on Thursday, she was playing it by ear depending on what time she was released. They both wanted me to thank you each for all the kind words, prayers and encouragement that they received because both their surgeries went just fine without complications. Hopefully, we will see them back on here and posting soon. I was so pleased to see Danielle yesterday! She was up and dressed in a tank top and shorts and was ready to hit the road and it was only mid-morning!! Unfortunately, Dr. Jawad frequently doesn't make rounds until later in the afternoon and by the time the paperwork is done, it's kind of late. I was discharged around noon, but didn't get out until nearly 3 p.m. because I was still waiting for a visit from physical therapy. I can't wait until Danielle has a chance to get back on the board and say hello for herself!! Jan
