I had wrote before that i was stuck at a weight for three weeks and it would not move. Well as for my work out at the gym i stopped all weights and kept up the treadmill and the water arobics. I am happy to say that last week I went to weigh in at the surgeons and had lost 2 lbs. and I went back this week and had lost 5 more pounds, that means I have 3 more pounds before Oct. 28th and I will be set for my big day. That is my surgey date, I have worked at this since last Dec. when i went to Dr. Jessee's seminar about Gastric bypass/ lapband surgy. Made an appt. to see Dr. Jessee and couldn't get in until March, thats when I started my weight loss juorney. Dr. jessee put me on a liquid protein diet to lose 80 lbs. so I could have lap. Gastric bypass and I have lost 77 lbs. and only 3 more to go. I am so thrilled i could dance in the streets, I am almost there. WOOOOHOOOO Hugs, Karen

Good Job!! I have to say that the Unjury protein powder is heavenly. Definitely try it out if you haven't already. It will be great post-op.

Karen, Congrats on your breakthru in your personal weightloss. I hate plateaus and can relate to how frustrating it can be to do everything right and not see the scales move. You have done a great job at losing weight! Personally, I think it is interesting that some surgeons want folks to lose a significant amount of weight prior to WLS. Doesnt make much sense to me, but that's one reason I'm not a doctor LOL. Anyway, you have done an amazing job already and should feel so proud as you move forward in your journey. Good luck with your surgery and please keep us posted on how you are progressing. Amy
