Is anyone going to Dr. Wizman's seminar on the 14th?

I have not posted here before, I never knew there were individual state boards *sheepish grin* I am going to Dr. Wizman's WLS seminar on 10/14. Is anyone else going? I have Aetna and I am going with Option B. hopefully by January I will be a loser.

Tricia, Welcome to the FL board. Glad that you found us. This website has a lot of great info and numerous message boards but it does take a while to sort through all of it. I hope the info session on 10/14 answers most of your questions and helps you with your decision(s) on WLS. Amy

Hello Trisha, I am not going to the seminar because I live in Orlando. But what I would like to tell you is that Dr. Wizman is an AWESOME doctor. He performed my surgery RNY on last December 10th. I have lost a total of 177 lbs since then and I am still losing. He gives you detailed information on how to take care of yourself before and after surgery. He and His staff is very supportive and they listen to every detail and are there to assist you through every phase of the process. He is very informative and makes you laugh. He is realistic and down to earth in his thinking and approach in helping his patients. I statrted out 417 lbs. to day I am 240.
