Looking for a PCP in Palm Beach area

Hi, I am on this website all the time, and it has been soooo helpful. I just wanted to ask if anyone knows a bariatric surgery friendly PCP in West Palm, or Boca area, that works with Humana Family (medicaid). I found the Surgeons that work out of Delray Medical,( Breslaw, and Hyland,)and they take My insurance, but every Dr. they tell me to call just stopped taking my ins. etc, etc. I am finding that trying to find the right pcp is harder than anything. I hate to pester anyone, but If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate them. Sincerely Cherie, [email protected]

They are in Jupiter, Florida, and I was soooo happy with their program. You might want to just look into it. As far as PCPs, I woudln't know. I just moved to Fla from NY, my letter of medical necessity and all of my consultations were from my doctors in NY, except a few last consults that I had down here. besides, I live all the way on the west coast. Sorry. Good luck in finding what you need, thoguh.

Dear Justine, Thanks for responding, so quickly. I have heard of Dr. Vaughan, through this website, but I don`t think they take my insurance. I will double check though. My PCP is Dr. Jeryan. He is on Burns Road across the street from Gardens Hospital. I really like him and he is totally open to WLS. As far as your insurance goes, you will need to call the office and ask. His # is 561-622-7661. Good luck!
