inusrance help please

I have stayell of florida, (medicade) who will cover this procedure? I have called so many DR.s and everyone says no, what do I do, where can I go ;-(

Shylo, Have you looked under the insurance section on the OH.com Florida page? Also, if you havent already, call your insurance company and ask them, give them the names of as many surgeons listed on the FL page as possible. I notice you are from Orlando. There are very few doctors in our area who do the surgery. Dr. Keith Kim at Celebration Hospital(Kissimmee) is the closest, Dr. Jawad and Dr. Overcash are in Ocala, Dr. Tenewicz is in Melbourne, several more doctors in Tampa area and more in Jax and down south. Try Dr. Rehnke in St. Pete, Dr. Murr in Tampa or Dr.Cox in Ft. Lauderdale? I know one of them did take it, but may have changed now. Also you can have your Medicaid "switched" to another like Amerigroup or Healthease. Call your worker and ask about it. I think they give you a chance to change every year. Good luck!

My aunt has medicaid and Dr. Kim at Celebration is doing her surgery. My doctor speaks highly of Dr. Kim. Check them out. Lovetta
