Flavia, It is always so exciting when people notice our weightloss. I didnt keep my surgery a secret from anyone at work and I have gotten a ton of support, I love it when people come up to me and tell me how proud they are of my success so far and a few have even asked me questions about the surgery because either they are interested or know someone who would benefit from it. I always give them this website as a good source of info and tell them about the Meet and Greets so they can meet some of us too. My current boss has been so supportive and says I am one of the bravest people he knows because I went through surgery. It always makes me smile to know how that he is in my corner. I, on the other hand, feel that if I keep things too personal in my industry, I won't have much chance for advancement int he future... Oh, well. Good for you, and thank you for the note!
