TT & "Light Weights"
Hi guys, I just started my journey on 07/27/04. As a light weight (started at 223, I'm 5'3, 30 year-old ) I am so scared I'll need a TT. I had a really hard time with my surgery (I am a big baby and cannot take pain and discomfort!) and ws hoping I wouldn't need another surgery later on. Are ther any light weights out there that did not have PS after reaching goal post WLS?

Lori, Lori, Lori, here you come for the rescue once again.
I do get tears in my eyes whenever I think of surgery. More scars, More pain, more time off work, more time away from my little girl.... More $$$$!!!! aarrghh!
I am sucha a big baby! Petrified of hospitals, when I look back, I still cannot believe I went thru with the open RNY.
Are u gonna make it to the Meet & Greet on October 30th?? It's a bit of a drive for you, but I think it'd be worth it. BTW, I looked at your profile, hope u don't mid, but I just luv your puppy! What a cuttie-pie!
thx, Flavia

Flavia- You are too sweet!! I totally understand all the issues you are having w/another surgery...but let's think...FLAT STOMACH!! Something I have never ever never had in my life...jeans with a shirt tucked in and not looking like an egg!! That's how I justify all the pain, and suffering!!
I would love to come to a meet and greet, but it's like 90 minutes from where I live, and I hate I-4!! Maybe I will recruit some other post-ops from this area and make a road trip out of it....
Talk to you soon!
Lori
