New Pain!

Hi, I have this new problem. On my right side, just below rib cage, I have a sharp pain when I take a deep breath, turn the wrong way or wear something a bit tight, like waist band on pants. The pain seems to be just above the lap entrance. I have also had the same type pain on the left side, but not to the same degree. It is also near one of the lap entrances. Has anyone had the same problem? I keep thinking it is part of healing on the inside. My thought at the moment is to call the doctor's office.

i had the same problem in the beginning, but i had open...my doc said it was my insides healing...i get the sharp pains every once and a while, but they aren't as bad as they were in the beginning...i would just lay on the side that was cramping with a heating pad under there...it subsided after awhile! hope u feel better soon hun!

Hi, I think it is inside healing, also. I tried the heating pad, seems to help. Thanks

If it is right below the rib cage, it could be gas... The only thing you can do is wither pass it or take soem gas-x!

I tried hot tea and a heating pad. Something seem to help. Hot tea helps pass gas.

Do you still have a gall bladder? Danielle

Hi Marla! Long time no talk! I hope all is well! I was experiencing these same things and checked with Dr, Murr, Jose and even Dr. Koche who is my primary. I had open but according to all three of them, it is as a result of the healing and the scar tissue forming. It should subside over time. Mine has let up alot. Hang in there! And keep in touch!

Hi Kathy, so nice to hear from you! The information you shared does relieve my mind. I will call Jose tomorrow, just to check with him. I took half of a pain pill tonight and the pain is much less.
