OUCH!

i'm 2weeks post op,no one told me how much it hurt to have the drain tube removed,i felt like i was having labor pains .it was removed on monday morning and now sometimes my entire body goes into spasms i have to take pain and muscle relaxers to ease the pain and spasms.i set up a lot of infection around the g tube,and drain tube. i hope and pray after all this pain and money this works.i'm not worried about streching it back out because it was a long hard journey to get here.i lost 14 pounds preop and 17 pounds post op a total of 31 pounds in less than 2 weeks.so that made me happy.got to go it's nap time. catch ya later love and hugs to all that have stood behind me, i really appreciate all of you. god bless you brenda

Brenda, I am not sure if I read your post right, but did you say you DO have infection around where the G tube was? If you DO have infection call your doctor. That could be what is causing so much pain. There should not be any infection. You take care. I am still with out power at home so I can not get my e-mails. I am at work now Shhhhhhhhhhhhh! Brenda, Hey there Your doing a wonderful job on yoru weight loss so keep up the great work! That g-tube did cause me an extreme amount of pain upon comming out as well! Like you I also said it felt like labor pains! Ouch!!!! I also had spasms for several days after wards, but it does get better. Best of luck, MICHELLE

Hey Girl! I just sent you an email, then came over and read your post..... Call the Dr., just in case it's infected. I didn't have any trouble w/either of my tubes...just a little redness and ooozing.....ahhh the ooozing...boy do I miss that G-tube....NOT!
