OT: Medicaid coverage question

I posted a question before about FL medicaid coverage and someone who worked for them responded so I'm hoping that person can point me in the right direction again. The places I have called so far keep passing me around to each other and no one acts like they know what I am talking about or cares that I am trying to report a change. I am disabled, was receiving SSI payments until my income made those payments stop at of 9/1. I receive Medicaid. I was told that although my payments are stopping I am still in the SSI system and will continue to receive Medicaid until I hear otherwise. I have not heard otherwise. I enrolled in one of the Medicaid plans, but told them that I would be covered by my employers insurance as of 9/1. They told me to report that to my case worker and then Medicaid would be my secondary and I would not have to be enrolled in a plan. I called Children and Family to report I have another insurance and was told my case is closed that I have Medicaid through Social Security to call them and report it. Children and Family was the only place that I had a name of a caseworker. I called SS and was told that if my payments stopped then my coverage stopped, but I have not received any notification of this. She told me to call Medicaid and find out if I could still qualify for coverage...the number she gave me to call was Children and Family and that person told me my case was closed because my Medicaid was through Social Security because I received SSI. ARGH!!! I told them I was just trying to be honest and report my change. I do still need Medicaid as a secondary, since due to my disability I have a lot of medical expenses. And need more than what my insurance will cover. I am sooo frustrated...I was just in the hospital and I gave both cards. I would have been told if I lost my medicaid, right? I am still deemed disabled. I will once again make phone calls on Monday...but can someone shed some light on my situation and suggest who I need to call.
