Here we go again! I know we are all SO tired of these darn hurricanes and so many of us have managed to get through them with little or no damage just a lot of inconvenience and anxiety. Now this one may put a big kink in my vacation plans next week My employees are stressing and a couple are at their wits-end emotionally and financially due to damage received from before and the loss of power for over a week. Anyway, I wish you all a safe weekend, stock up on gas, ice, water, etc. NOW, dont wait until tomorrow. Take care, Amy

I bought gas 2 days ago and need to just get batteries and cat food today and then I'm ready physically, but definitely NOT ready emotionally!! Jan

Hello Jan! We met you at the Altamonte Mall, sitting across from you (Dan and I). It sure is nice to see you. How was surgery? Been thinking about you alot, in fact I just emailed Amy B. asking how you are. I like your new picture. I need to change mine as well. Hope everything went well and flawless. Lise

I hear you sister......lol. We have to laugh about it or we will go crazy. Last night I went to publix and got lucky because a shipment of ice just arrived. Since my freezer is still relatively empty I could fit 6 bags of ice in there. I also froze a gallon of milk for my little ones and an extra loaf of bread. Then after the gym last night I went to gas up. Most gas stations had lines around the corner. I finally drove into broward county,(gas prices are cheaper there than in Palm Beach County) and they were out of gas except for super. So I had to pay $30 to fill up my SUV which was already half full. Thanks for letting me vent......... I am trying to stay postive but it is hard these days!!!!! Christine

I've been working super hard at work, taking extra reports just so I can manage to come out with $1,000....now with this hurricane, if I lose power I will be in trouble because I'll lose Monday and maybe Tuesday if the power crew has to come out here again.. :sigh: Trailer Parks in rich communities are always last.. :-\ :surrenders:

I know how you feel Amy. I'm a Florida Cracker(born and raised here) and I have been through a few,but this year is enough. I sometimes think God is testing us. I saw a joke the other day that said "Headline" November 2nd 2004, Voters in Florida head to the polls while Hurricane Zachary makes landfall along the coast!!! We have been fortunate not to have more damage than some trees down and the inconvience of the power outages. I know a single mom who lost everything in Frances when the roof collapsed on her apartment building, fortunately she had gone to the west coast to stay with some friends. I hope everyone comes through this one un-harmed. Remember you can replace material objects. Be safe, Dennis
