OT Prayers Please
I know this is off subject but we could use all the prayers we can get. My mom is in the hospital on monday she had a stroke. It has effected her left side lots of weekness and loss of corodination. Also her vision isn't quiet right. My mom is 72 but acts and looks lots younger until now she has never needed any help to do things people half her age wouldn't even attempt. She layed wood flooring in her house just a few months ago. This is going to be a rough road to recovery but with her will and drive I know she can do this. Thanks everyone take care....

Linda,
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. It sounds like she is quite a pistol so hopefully her recovery will be full and speedy. It is never easy to see how fragile life is, but especially hard when it is a family member. My thoughts are with you and your Mom as she starts her tough recovery. Take care
Amy

Sorry to hear about your mother but encourage her to fight back even get mad about it. My father is 71 and active but he had a stroke in March 2004 that affected his right side alot like your mom's. He couldn't speak or use his right side. Prayers and determination has brought him back quick. Don't get me wrong. He has fought and worked hard. When the doctors told us the could put him in rehab to get him where he could feed himself again , we told them "No" We want him mobile. we want him back as good as he can be and we pushed until they put him in Brooks Rehab in Jacksonville. They worked him hard but now he is working in his yard and even driving short distances to hang out with the men . He talks pretty well and we can understand everything unless he gets too excited. Tell her to believe and fight . She can come back and be active again. I will keep you all in my prayers.
