2 weeks post-op

Well I weighed today actually 2 weeks was yesterday, but since I dont own a scale I went to my daughters work Lost 24 lbs. I was shocked and cried I was so happy. Feeling pretty good no more pain pills and can sleep on my left side for short time.Fluids are hard to get all them in. eating soft foods. will post again Nancy

Nancy, That is Awesome!!!!! Keep it up. Try SF popscicles to help get your fluids in, there are lots of flavors out there now

nancy you know I tease you but you also know that i am very proud of you. I know what you had to do just to get to a surgery date that realy happened and with everything else going on in your life you have proven that you are a real WINNER. Congrats and just stay the course.

Hi Brian, I agree Nancy did go through allot and I followed here for over a year already...wow I know times flies when you are having fun but life hasn't been so much fun lately jumping through hoops to try and meet all the demands to get this to see my surgeon. Nancy knows what I mean.... Brian how are you doing with your weightloss?

As of today I am down 45 pounds which is more than 1/2 off my goal. I had the surgery to get off on insulin because of many complication. I used to take about 200+ units a day. In the last 7 days I have had a total of 20 units. thanks for asking and good luck.

Brian, Congrats on your success so far! I cant wait until I am off my BP medicine completely, so I can only imagine how good you feel about your insulin reduction. Awesome job! Keep it up Amy -93lbs.
