Any Surgeon in Fl that takes Medicare?

Does anyone know of any surgeon out there that takes medicare? Medicare even told me there were none..is it possible? Any help is greatly appreciated from anyone with the experience. Thanks

I'm not sure but try US bariactrics. My aunt is having her surgery in Celebration, by Dr. Kim. She has medicaid and I couldn't imagine them accepting one and not the other. It's worth a try. Lovetta

Thanks anyway but I already spoke to them and they only take medicare for the hospital bill. The surgeons fees of 10k are not covered and out of pocket. That actually was the only place I found that even had medicare cover anything, but still no dr coverage. Just thought I would see if anyone out there knew anything else about it. Thanks

Call Dr. Rehnke's office in St. Pete, I believe that he does take medicare, i know he takes types of medicaid. You can get his info from the surgeon page. Hope this helps and good luck on your wl journey. Tammy
