OT: But need an opinion...

Okay, so ... I kind of have myself in a long distance relationship with a really great guy. We've exchanged pictures and I sent him some old photos of myself. However, I don't know whether they look close to what I do now. The great thing about Michael is he isn't against or for the surgery he just feels I should do what I feel's best for me.

Sounds like the situation is running smooth aside from your insecurities. If Michael isn't for or against the surgery and is supportive enough to say you should do whatever is best for you, than I'd say go for it. The other thing is, regardless of how YOU feel you look, this Michael is still talking to you...so you obviously aren't all that bad to him, right? Good luck to you Danielle

Heather, they look close enough. I wouldn't sweat it. You have obviously talked to him about the surgery, so there are no surprises. If he feels you should do what's best for you, do it, and keep in touch with this guy, so sounds pretty good. steve

Hey Heather, I think the 3 pics are close to the same. If he does not care if you have the surgery or not that means he likes you for who you are right now. I say pursue this relationship because after the surgery things can only get better. It sounds like he is a pretty good guy so give him a chance. Have faith in yourself!!!!!!!! Christine -70

The pass picture doesn't show your cute smile, but the other two pictures are very nice. I think you look swell in them both! He wasn't expecting Heather Locklear, was he?? And he's already gotten to know the best part of you - the inside! I think all the pictures are nearly the same and I wouldn't worry, except to say that you should be VERY careful when you meet this guy the first time. Don't be alone with him, meet in a public place and take all the precautions. You don't know the sleazes that are out there!! Jan

I'd definently go for it. The pictures are close enough. As they have said just be careful. I would definently meet in a public place and take someone with you. Make it a very relaxing easy atmosphere with no pressure. That way if you just don't click, neither one feels too bad about it. I've met people from online, just as friends, but it has always gone well. I did go with one of my friends to meet a guy and it didn't go well...but since both had other people with them it wasn't a big deal. We split up and went our own way. Good luck!
