Question of the Day
Hi Amy, I am a magazine-aholic! I have tried to cut back. I have discontinued Martha and Oprah; they weren't doing it for me any longer. Oprah, although I love her show, got to self-helpie for me. I am never going to buy her "favorite things" as they don't fit my life style or my budget and I think Martha has shown me all her tricks. I never going to do dinner for 12 again! I have also discontinued Smithsonian and National Geographic, both very nice but I just don't have time to read them.
The current list is; Better homes and Garden, Martha's FOOD, and I just can't live without Vanity Fair. I occasionally pick up one of the weekly supermarket check out magazines if it looks like it has a good recipe or something interesting but not that often anymore. After a while I think you have heard all the information there is to be had on cleaning, relationships and diets!
In my twenty and thirty-something's I loved Cosmo and the fashion magazines. I still like to browse them at the hair salon but I don't spend money on them anymore.
My husband gets Business Week and I think Money or something like that, do these count?
It was a fun question this morning Amy, thanks
Rosey
Good question. I currently subscribe to Reader's Digest (great bathroom reading!), Redbook (I subscribed from a door-to-door salesman and ordered the wrong thing. I won't renew it). Simple Scrapbooks, Memory Makers and Creating Keepsakes (all scrapbooking mags). AND my favorite, Our State magazine - a magazine devoted to North Carolina, our home state and where we plan to move back to when my hubby retires. My hubby gets PC World and several other computer mags.

I love magazines!!!!!!!!!!! I subscribe to Martha Stewart Living, Family Fun, Redbook and Readers' Digest. The ones I don't subscribe to I buy in the grocery line. Since I don't have enough time to actually read a book, magazines are quick to read or just look at the pictures.
Have a great Monday!!!!!!!!
Christine

OKAY, AMY.............I GOT THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION.
I love my Southern Living magazine. I read Good Housekeeping, Woman's Day and Prevention. My husband gets Wood workers Journal, Photographic, Snapshot and Wood which I like to look at all the projects. (just to see what things he can make for me)
I love learning from Alternative Magazine and Mother Earth News. I enjoy planning all my trips with Highway Magazine. I love magazines because they have a variety of subjects and all in shorter versions than large books.
Good Question this morning!
Carol

My mother-in-law subscribed me to Parents and now she is sending Men's Health to Troy. My mom got some Disney magazine for the kids, which Nikky loves
I use to get Computer Shopper, but it made us sad looking at all the stuff we couldn't afford, yet.
Oh is anyone going to the Lake Mary meeting tomorrow night?
Tracey
