Surgeon Advise

Hi Stepheny, I researched for a long time and found Dr. Kim at Celebration Health to be a good choice. He has not been in Florida long, but he has been doing this surgery for a long time. He performed the Duodenal Switch on me in July and it has been a great experience. (He is one of a very few surgeons in Florida skilled enough to perform this surgery) The first thing you will notice is how Celebration Health is more like a hotel then a hospital. They really designed the hospital to be as comfortable as possible. The staff at Celebration are top notch and Dr. Kim is a well versed and very thorough surgeon. He has been available for me at all hours and will personally call your home if you miss an appointment or if something is not "right" and he wants to check up on you. Their after care program is outstanding and the hospital is well equiped for this procedure. The best of luck to you on your journey. Hi again. Sorry that I replied in the wrong place earlier - I'm trying to get a feel for how this works. Thanks to all of you for your information. Hopefully I will be making my decision very soon so that I can proceed with getting insurance approval & a surgery date. I will keep you posted - Stepheny
